ABOUT DREI STRÄNGE
drei Stränge (dry stran-guh) translates from German to Three Strands. We have based our marriage and our business on Ecclesiastes 4:12, which says "A cord of three strands is not easily broken." We believe that centering our marriage, business, and our lives around God allows us to live fully the way we were created to, honoring God and showing His love to others.
Since early 2021, we have been raising West German Showline German Shepherds. We fell in love with our first pet, and wanted to contribute to maintaining the high standards of this breed. We have spent countless hours researching, training, learning and raising this breed to allow us to offer the highest quality puppies to their new families.
Our dogs love to explore our many acres of woods and trails. They are exposed to all walks of life, sights, sounds, and animals. We love to take them on field trips and travel with them. They have visited many large cities such as Chicago, have hiked the mountains of Tennessee, and have explored remote areas in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
We are proud that our dogs are our pets first. Their happiness and health is our first priority. We love this breed and want to contribute to advancing the standard and quality of the German Shepherd Dog. Our dogs will remain in our home as our pets for the entirety of their life.
Cliff and Alicia have been married since 2005 and have four children. Cliff is an executive for a large manufacturing company as the Director of Supply Chain. Alicia was a stay at home mom for 20 years, and homeschooled our children for 5 of those years. Alicia has returned to the workforce in recent years as the Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Program Manager for a local Child Advocacy Center. She is also an advocate for underprivileged youth.
We are an active family and love skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, running, traveling, training our dogs, and watching movies. We like to stay active in our church and love building relationships with new people.
Health is important to us not only for our family, but for our dogs as well. Alicia spends time menu planning and meal prepping for our dog's partial raw diet filled with high quality fresh ingredients and supplements. We are continuously learning what we can do to improve the health and wellness of our pack!
